PASS All criteria met 50% ACRES Can apply, but limited to 50% of DT acres (forecasted high 85–<95°F today or tomorrow) CAUTION Rain risk or hot & dry — use larger droplets CAN NOT SPRAY Do not apply — wind, temp ≥95°F, rain, or MN state rule (≥85°F)
Common label requirements (Engenia EPA 7969-345 • Stryax EPA 264-1241 • Tavium EPA 100-1623): Wind 3–10 mph at boom height • Temp <95°F (≥85°F: 50% acreage limit; ≥95°F: do not apply) • Applications 1 hr after sunrise to 2 hrs before sunset (inversion prevention) • No rain during application; allow 4 hrs to dry • Hot and dry conditions: use larger droplets.
Minnesota: State pesticide rules prohibit over-the-top dicamba application when the forecasted high is ≥85°F on the day of or day after treatment — more restrictive than the federal label’s 50% acreage allowance.
Certified applicators must obtain NOAA/NWS daily high temp forecasts for the day of and day after application for record-keeping. This tool is informational only. Always read and follow the current label for your specific product. The label is a legal document and controls in all cases.
