| Product | Density | % N by wt. | lb N / gal | Salt-out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 28% UAN | 10.67 lb/gal | 28.0% | 2.988 | 1 °F |
| 32% UAN | 11.06 lb/gal | 32.0% | 3.539 | 32 °F |
Densities are the standard published figures at 60 °F. Product measured hot or cold will run slightly off these numbers, so treat the result as a load-planning figure, not a custody-transfer weight. Salt-out temperature is listed because it is usually what drives the swap in the first place — 32% starts throwing crystals near freezing, which is why it gets cut to 28% for cold-weather storage and application.
